Long-range County Championships
This year's Kent Open will be held at Tunbridge Wells Target Shooting Club on Sunday 25th June. Click here for the entry form.
The Kent long-range championship is a double-dewar competition (40 shots at 50m and 40 shots at 100yds), shot on one of Kent's outdoor ranges each summer, usually in May or June.
The competition is open to all shooters; however, only a Kent-resident shooter can become Kent Long-range Champion.
This competition also forms a part of the Peter Packham Championship - the Peter Packham Memorial Trophy is awarded to the shooter with the highest combined score from the Kent long-range and short-range competitions.
The Kent long-range championship is also the first stage of the Astor competition, where club teams of six compete to be county high-scorer and to qualify for a shoulder-to-shoulder final shot at Bisley on Century Range in August.
