About us
The Kent County Smallbore Shooting Association (KCSSA) exists to encourage and facilitate the development and participation in the sport of target shooting (to include the use of all firearms recognised under NSRA regulations), support smallbore shooting, and encourage skill by providing instruction, practice and competition within the county of Kent.
The Association is affiliated to the National Smallbore Rifle Association (NSRA) as a Category C Association.
What do we do?
- We are the organising body for smallbore and airgun target shooting in Kent.
- We organise teams to represent the county in national competitions, leagues and shoulder-to-shoulder events for the National Championships at Bisley.
- We run leagues for individuals and club teams within the county (Kent postal competitions are open to members of clubs affiliated to the KCSSA, and individual affiliates)
- We organise the annual smallbore short-range county championships and the Kent Open meeting (long-range championships)
- We represent Kent shooters and clubs at the national level, through the NSRA Council meetings.
