County Teams
The Association enters representative County Teams in a range of competitions. Team selection is the responsibility of the relevant section captain. For results, please click on the links below
The National Smallbore Rifle Association runs Inter-County leagues in .22 rifle, 3P rifle, air rifle and air pistol, with the .22 leagues also including reserves teams, ladies and juniors competitions. The leagues are run over the winter season each year.

County Air Pistol Teams
These are annual NSRA-organised Inter-County competitions for .22 rifle. Each county elects their own date and range for firing the competitions, on one day between January and the end of September, and the cards are returned for central scoring. The County Cup is an open team of 12, firing a single dewar course, i.e. 20 shots at 50m and 20 shots at 100yds. The BSA Cup is a team of 12, consisting of 20 shots at 25yds.
Ladies Long Range Competition & Mrs Charles Law Trophy
These competitions are ladies versions of the above Inter-County competitions.
This is an annual Home Counties competition, for teams representing Kent, Surrey, Essex, Hertfordshire and Middlesex. The competition is a shoulder-to-shoulder event, with the host county rotating each year. The course of fire is usually ‘through-the-ranges’, i.e. 20 shots at 25yds, 20 shots at 50m, and 20 shots at 100yds. The Marks Shield is an open county team, currently of 12 with the best 8 scores to count. The Invicta Cup is a ladies team, currently of 5 with the best 3 scores to count.
